Project Support to Assoc. Prof. Melis Behlil from TÜBİTAK 1002 Program

We are pleased to announce that the project “Changing Practices in Cinema-Going: A Case Study on Kadıköy Cinema,” coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Melis Behlil from KHAS Radio, Television and Cinema Department, has been funded by TÜBİTAK 1002-A Short-Term Support Module.

The project aims to understand the practices of contemporary arthouse cinema audiences and the unique relationship(s) that local movie theaters establish with their audiences to maintain their existence in the current economic order.
